"ALQUIN - MARKS" 2012 EU limited edition of 200 copies audiophile pressing 8-track 180gr COLOURED vinyl LP. On MUSIC ON VINYL label. Catalogue No: MOVLP618. Barcode: 0602537136155.

Dutch Prog Rockers Alquin delivered their first album "Marks" in 1972. "Marks" contains eight songs that prove the musical force of this young group who at the time were still in their University attending days. However influences of Pink Floyd and Roxy Music are apparent, Alquin succeeded in shaping their own style. Sometimes Jazzy, there are even Folk influences on this varied album. Every instrument is breezily in service of the arrangement, avoiding to bore the listener with endless soloing. Highly recommended record. 

Limited edition: 200 Red copies, 200 White copies & 200 Blue copies.

    I grade the records visually but strictly. Gradings are according to UK Record Collector's magazine grading system. The standard condition categories and a description of what each ones means are listed below. Please take a look.

    MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or detorioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
    EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
    VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
