rare ALT cover featuring the title across the top inside a white border...of the US track listing LP by The ROLLING STONES "12 x 5" NZ orange MONO Decca "flipback" NO WRITING ANYWHERE !
Original HMV (NOT later EMI) with matrixes ARL 6493/6494...but no extra numbers or letters, which would indicate that this master was actually Made in England and shipped out to New Zealand where they pressed these up as the Rolling Stones 2nd LP release there....

Cover has some rubbing etc on the matte finish rear, whereas the front cover has fared better as it's glossy. It took my YEARS of searching to find one without someone's name written all over it & nice clean labels. This LP is not mint/NM/Ex but it's actually very good & by the way.....in better condition than my other copy (that I'm keeping), which is marked as "stereo", but is actually re-processed (fake) stereo. I believe that LP of mine is a direct copy of the US master &rarer than the this mono pressing, as stereo records sold very poorly in 1964-65!
