LONG OUT OF PRINT - This is a superb session from the great tenor sax player on the lesser known Argo label. This album features an excellent backup quartet with Tommy Flanagan on piano and Kenny Burrell on guitar. The album is beautifully recorded by Rudy van Gelder, who did many of the best titles for Argo (the jazz subsidiary of Chess). The program includes a mix of ballads like Star Eyes and You're My Thrill and more up-tempo pieces such as Lester Leaps In (a splendid version of this classic).

• Re-Mastered by Bernie Grundman - we believe the LP was made in the USA, but it could have been made in Germany.
