ALTO SAX Benny Carter Charlie Parker 1955 Norgran dg mono lp N-1035 jazz vinyl Shipping Info Description Vintage jazz LP: ALTO SAX / ALTO SAXES - BENNY CARTER, CHARLIE PARKER, JOHNNY HODGES, WILLIE SMITH - the original release on Norgran Records, MG N- 1035, mono, deep groove, A/B matrix, yellow & black label with trumpeter, 12 tracks; cover art by David Stone Martin; released in 1955. Sidemen include Dodo Marmarosa, Barney Kessel, Kenny Dorham, Al Haig, Max Roach, Hank Jones, Buddy Rich, Walter Bishop Jr., Oscar Peterson, Herb Ellis and others. Tracks include: A Foggy Day, Star Eyes, Sophisticated Lady, Poinciana, Cardboard, Tea For Two, A Pound Of Blues, Not So Bop Blues, Prisoner Of Love, Fiesta, Warm Valley, and You Took Advantage Of Me.
Condition: VG+/VG- (vinyl still has some gloss, with only some minor scuffing and a couple of tiny soft scratches - plays great with a touch of minimal ticking at the two soft scratches; a couple of tiny blemish-bumps to the first track; the jacket has some ringwear, sticker residue to corner, clear-tape repairs to spine and edges, minor corner rubbing).
