This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1970 STUDIO 1 RECORDS JAMAICA 7" 45 containing the holiday reggae tunes titled 'Christmas Rock' from Jackie Mittoo & The Brentford Rhythm Band backed with 'Christmas Coming' from Alton Ellis. No catalog number is shown on the record labels, which are white with black print. Visual condition of play surface is a high VG+ with a very few surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Record also has a few extremely slight pits and ripples in the play surface which are a slight pressing defect which is common with Jamaican press records, these also have absolutely no effect on play. Record plays nicely with some light surface noise. B-side label has a 'Made InJamaica' rubber stamp, both labels have a little contact wear, no other problems. This 45 would be a nice addition to any reggae or rock steady record collection!
