**First week of issue with the 1/L & 1/G Mothers/Stampers**
A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

Lovely heavy ORIGINAL vinyl.
The vinyl carries some light marks to her-and looks to have had some heat damage to the vinyl...I have yet to play her, but will do so in a day or two and let you know. At the moment I am listing her as an incredibly early VERY 1st PRESSING filler.

Lovely and clear. There are many light spindle marks-only visible when angled towards the light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Minimal hole wear to speak of.
Lovely, clear silver text.
Small number '1' to the Parlophone logo on side 1 and the same: '2' to side 2..Other than that-great condition.

SOLID CONDITION
There are lines and fingers of spidering to the gatefold laminate.
The Corners have some slight knocking, with the top and bottom of the spine being rubbed, with small splits of about 1cm to the top and 3cm to the bottom of the right gatefold panel-but nothing bad at all and I am being rather critical-but always honest!
NO writing.
Strong and clean WHITE inner flipbacks.
WONDERFULLY STRONG AND LEGIBLE SPINE...a bit squished.
We all know how delicate this gatefold cover is and this one has been taken to parties, but also well looked after throughout it's life...
HEY, don't forget this was the FIRST ever produced gatefold!

All ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" inner, with the poly-lining.
It is the EARLIEST you can find, with the "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" text to one side.
In TOP CONDITION and free from rips/tears or writing-it is even as white as the day she was born
Certainly done her job by looking after this quality slab of vinyl.
SO FOLKS, THIS IS A VERY 1st WEEK OF ISSUE SLAB OF VINYL FROM 1963 AND WILL SIT PROUD IN ANYONES COLLECTION ALL COMPLETE TOO.
