Pretty scarce early 70's British vinyl issue of the very first "Slade" Lp when they were known as "Ambrose Slade" ... AMBROSE SLADE'S remarkable (long time sought) 1969 collectible Lp was repressed on the obscure British "Contour" label in the early 70's to cash in on the bands (then) tremendous success...The highly glossy (laminated) cover photo makes for a nice presentable collectible as it is in MINT condition and so is the glossy vinyl (mint!) ...
Completely different in terms of the catchy oriented hard rocking Slade of the early 70's, the '69 Slade version were an inspired crew who centered on a great garagey psych Lp, filled with tight moves and fuzz guitar injections...Lots of psychedelic - rock moves in the raw action:
