Description
This is an original, EXTREMELY RARE UK DEMO pressing of the very first Ambrose Slade (later to become just "Slade") 1969 UK 7inch MONO single "Genesis" - B Side is "Roach Daddy"
This record is on the Fontana record label, number TF 1015 and comes complete with original dark blue and white Fontana sleeve

The condition of the vinyl is Very Good: much of the original vinyl sheen has been retained and the appearance of the vinyl is impressive; under a bright light there are many very thin, surface only spindly hairlines but absolutely nothing deep rooted though there are a number of surface scuffs. The quality of the audio is also Very Good. There are no clicks, "pops", skips, or jumps and the level of crackle is minimal - in fact the only audio blemish is some slight background crackle but nothing to significantly detract from the overall very good sound quality. The record labels are both VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT : side A is a little "grubby" in places, and side B has a small yellow sticker (see photo) which could probably be removed with due care and attention, and also a light residue mark on the left side over the "Flamingo Music Ltd" text. The original Fontana dark blue and white sleeve is in Very Good condition - not perfect, however, since there is some mild creasing around the edges and and a few little nicks around the circular inner edge.
This is a true piece of very ,very rare progressive rock history that will only increase in value and that would enhance any serious collector's collection! I have never, ever seen any demo copy of any Ambrose Slade single : even the non-demo copies are very rare!

Excellent Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.Fair
Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
