1968, Original US (Dallas, Tx) Pressing

RARE/SCARCE 1968 Private Pressing on Karma. Coming out of the same fertile 60s Texas psych/garage rock scene that spawned the 13th Floor Elevators came this classic Dallas, Tx blues influenced hard-psychedelic rock band featuring members Dusty Hill and Frank Beard that went on to form the legendary ZZ Top with Moving Sidewalks member Billy Gibbons.
This copy is guaranteed an original press that came from the depths of a discarded collection culled from a South Texas college library.

Condition:
Vinyl is in VG- (Very Good minus) visual grade condition with a decent amount of scratches and scuff marks.
I listened to the album in full. The following issues are noted:
In general the albums plays decent with mild surface noise heard in portions. There are a few feelable scratches on this record. I heard some crackling, clicking and some pops towards end of 'If I Were A Carpenter'. Clicking/crackling on 'All I Saw...'; crackling and some light pops on 'She'll Be Mine', 'Fugue For Lady Cheriff' and 'It's Gone'.  There is 1 skip towards end of 'Mercury Blues'.
Album Cover shows mild shelf and ring wear. I think this was a promo copy as there was some faint writing on the top center of front cover that reads 'W/30'. When doing some research of previous copies sold, this same writing appears on another copy. I tried cleaning the cover, so it is faint. The back cover shows some mild shelf and ring wear, with some small stains on the upper right hand area of cover and some residue stains along the opening edge. The labels on record have a little bit of left-over reside from library adhesive stickers that were previously there. A previous owner wrote his name in small letters on Side XI (or side 1) label. The corners show some rubbing. No seam splits or tears!
