Description
Amish formed in Galt, Ontario, Canada from the remnants of “FJ and the Impressions”. They were a covers bands for a while, but began writing their own tunes. Their only recorded and released effort was made in Detroit for the SUSSEX label. No studio tricks or special effects. Hard rock with guitars and gravelly vocals. A solid album. Apparently there was a second album laid down, but no release of this material as yet. This is the Canadian AMPEX issue and has a Solid GOLD SUSSEX label which I have never seen.
The cover is EX. The record has a couple of very minor ticks, but very few and plays EX throughout.
