AMOS AND SARA - SING THE PRIVATE WORLD OF AMOS (16-TRACK C60 CASSETTE) ITS WAR BOYS - £2 - UK 1981 - WITH HAND-MADE GLUED LABELS, HAND-MADE INLAY AND HUGE INFO INSERT Original and very hard to find 1981 cassette-only release by side project of the late '70s avant-garde experimental punk band the Homosexuals. This is their only official cassette release as Amos & Sara, and it is totally a DIY production. The inlay photo is a prototype clipping from a magazine, a similar image is glued on one label while on the other there are band and title credits and there is a huge insert with information folded to fit in the cassette case. A production like this, with each copy being unique, I'm sure would be very limited, hence so rarely seen for sale (an original at least, I'm aware that the cassette market is flooded with fakes). A nice rare and 100% genuine original item from the punk and new wave scene of the early '80s. CONDITION (I don't use higher than ex/ex) cover: vg+ cassette: vg+ * not any problems, just that I wouldn't put higher than vg+ for these old low-quality DIY cassettes, they would play with minor defects, especially at the beginning and depending on the quality of the equipment (play-tested on mine which is average).
