The German trio are mostly compared to EKSEPTION, ELP, DEEP PURPLE and THE NICE. Unlike many of their contemporaries, AMOS KEY favoured shorter songs over longer epics. Around 1975 AMOS KEY again entered the studio to record another album but unfortunately it was not to be. The album was never finished, but a few demos have come to light. For a long hiatus the band became more obscure with their one and only release.

The band at this time was a trio - keyboard, bass, drums. Yes Exactly, Classic Rock like Ekseption and The Nice . Amos Key came from the Bavarian-Frankish region. "First Key" which the only album the band , the band existed until the beginning of 1976. After that the guitarist Helmut Jungkunz met the band Amon Duel II and became a member of the band. The efforts of the Quartet failed to attract a record label for a second album. Later circulating a germanophone bootleg album existed . "First Key" offers Exactly what one would expect from the organ, bass and drums trio classic Prog. Andreas Gross is assigned a guitar in the credits, but not much really to hear. For his virtuoso bass playing is all the better to hear. The music is dominated by Thomas Molin and his Hammond organ did alternates between Sacred Sound walls, classic sound surfaces and snappy, jazzy runs Back and Forth. This makes perfect listening enjoyment of the music. The compact numbers are balanced and varied compositions with virtuosity and high quality. Produces clear and punchy, the album is so quiet.
