1 LP box-set.Original US-pressing from 1980 on SHEFFIELD LAB,LAB 13.Most of the time you will see the regular edition,wich comes in a plain cover,but this is the “deluxe”-edition,it comes in a heavy cardboard-box.Includes a recordsized gatefold-insert with complete lyrics,infos,photo,line-up etc.DIRECT DISC RECORDING,LIMITED EDITION.

Line-up:  orchestra conducted by L.Mayorga,who also plays piano - Amanda McBroom/vocals.

This is A.McBroom’s first recording,including her GOLDEN GLOBE winning composition “The Rose” from the movie of the same name.In the movie Bette Midler sung this song,but L.Mayorga heard a demo-tape by A.McBroom wich impressed him so much that he immediately ordered her to the studio.After he and Doug Sax had listened to her live in the studio they decided to record her as soon as possible.So A.McBroom made her debut recording,wich was of course recorded,mixed,mastered and pressed according to Sheffield lab’s highest standards,rightfully recommended on the TAS list,making this LP a true audiophile classic!

Condition:the record looks and plays perfectly in mint-.The heavy cardboard-box has a fine front & back with slightest shelfwear,both seams and the right side are fine with slightest wear,unfortunately the left side has rub on the complete length of it’s bottom,you can easily read the title etc.,the imperfection is below that.I would grade the box easily as mint--/ex+++ but I lower the grading due to the rub to overall vg+/vg.Please take a look at the pictures!The gatefold-insert looks perfectly in mint-.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a EINSTEIN TU-3 Super Fine Line moving coil cartridge (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment).I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,this cleaned records is stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover is placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
