Description
I bought this ultra high fidelity LP in the Spring of 1995 when it was first issued. I played it ONCE on a lateral-drive turntable (the kind which reproduces movement and angle of Scully lathe, minimizing wear and distortion) with new diamond stylus to make a chrome cassette tape dub. From that point on, when I wanted to hear the record, I played the cassette tape dub, not the LP. THE ALBUM HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED SINCE. It is in mint- condition in its original packaging, with no handling wear on the jacket or vinyl. Only factory sealing and not being played the one time could make it true "mint." I am told only 2,000 pressings were allowed, as this was a limited edition. This is serial number 1757. Mobile Fidelity pressed this on 200 gram vinyl, and you will see, feel and hear the difference. Gatefold jacket is in protective plastic slip cover.
