UK REPRISE (RSPL 6398) FIRST PRESSING (March 1970) OF ANANDA SHANKAR'S SELF TITLED FIRST UK RELEASE
PRESSED ON HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL JUST AT THE POINT REPRISE WERE CHANGING THEIR LABEL FROM THE TRI-COLOURED STEAMBOAT DESIGN TO THIS TAN (a few copies did appear on the Steamboat label - but not many) - THIS COPY HAS THE FIRST ISSUE RSLP CATALOGUE NUMBER AND RSLP A1/B1 MATRIX

COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL "PATENTS APPLIED FOR", "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE WITH ALL TEXT PRINTED IN GREY

Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and are practically unmarked

My play-check at loud volume revealed no audio issues of note - no scratches, no clicks/pops and no surface noise (the run-ins and track divisions are practically silent) - superb copy
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Apart from some spine creases (all spine text is clear and bold) the cover is in superb condition with crisp, sharp edges and a beautiful deep glossy sheen to the laminated surfaces
