Here is a superb original uk pressing of this musically brilliant Sitar-Psych album by Ananda Shankar. This issue is the mega-rare earliest uk thick vinyl first pressing with the three colour reprise label, almost all copies that get offered on ebay are later pressings with the plain tan reprise label with much flimsier vinyl. This earliest uk pressing on offer here is is really superb condition, the thick first press vinyl has a brilliant original near mint sheen and has obviously been barely played at all, there are no bad scuffs, marks or scratches at all and all tracks play and sound excellent throughout with barely any background noise, this rare album has only ever had just a handful of very careful plays on a decent turntable since new, so there is no lessoning in the sound quality at all. The labels are very clean with no marks or wear and look as new apart from a couple of hard to spot short light spindle traces. The 'Garrod & Lofthouse' fully laminated single sleeve is in excellent clean condition, there is a small area of lamination blistering at the front op right corner and just a small amount of corner creasing. The back cover has a few track time corrections written by the track listing of side one, these are very tiny and faded and do not stand out. This is a really excellent original very rare uk first pressing that will definitely not disappoint in any way. All pictures are of the actual item for sale. Please Check out my other items!
