Ananda Sankar (1942 – 1999)
Son of Uday and Amala Shankar, Ananda, in the words of a critic, “was an original musician of the word before the term world music was invented.” Trained in Indian classical music and subsequently exposed to western trends, he pioneered a distinctive sound : vibrant new age music, capable of breaking barriers between races, cultures and generations.

As I have been forced by eBay (to make them more money!!) to raise the start price of this item to incorporate postage charges (I am a private individual, not a business), I have reduced the cost of overseas postage to take account of this.
There is a slip of paper with my eBay i.d. shown over the scan for this item. This is to stop people copying my pictures and will not be on the item if you buy it.
I bought an A3 scanner to scan my albums but it doesn't quite get the full width of the cover. You may see that there is part of the cover missing from the scan - it is only missing from the scan and will be there if you buy the item.

I am thinning-out my music collection and most of the items I am selling have been bought and only listened to a few times. They will all have low start prices which in no way reflects the condition of the item, I am just trying to make space. I try to be as honest as possible with condition details to save any complaints.
Please note, I always use professional record mailers and stiffeners to ensure that your item arrives in the best possible condition. If you win with a low bid I may use "recycled" mailers. All Overseas items are mailed by Air Mail.I don’t send items by surface as it is only slightly cheaper and items will take up to 6 weeks to reach you (if they arrive at all).
I WILL combine overseas shipping costs if you win more than one item from me (within 7 days of each other). The exact cost will depend on weight and whether all items can be placed in the same parcel. If you win more than one item, please wait until I send you an invoice before paying. Thanks.
I obtain a certificate of posting for every item.

UK : I accept Cheques drawn on British Banks, Postal Orders, PayPal (for payment by Credit Card and Debit and Charge Cards).
Overseas : Paypal (preferred), International Money Orders (made out in sterling).
Goods despatched when payment is received or cleared (cheques). I try and despatch the day following payment but occasionally I do work away so it could be 3 days before despatch.
