Description

Here for sale a batch of really nice Italian Xian records. Most of them are by "Gruppo Musicale 'Anawim" on Turin's ELLE DI CI label. Forget the Barabba - "Il Vangelo secondo Barabba" Lp (always on LDC label), 'Anawim is the ultimate Italian Xian progressive group to look for!

Led by duo Luciano Scaglianti (Keyboards) and Francesco Roda (Bass) together with Gianluigi Marseglia and Franco Damiano (Guitars), Pino Marchetti (Drums) and Carlo Sola (Percussions) with the support of an entire vocal group, they recorded many -still unknown- amazing Lps with a distinctive jazz\rock prog sound.

Their masterpiece is the unfindable "Donna de paradiso" Lp with its complex 10 minutes long self-titled prog suite. Also their other Lps are amazing as well as rare!

One of the most rare Italian Xian record, the one you really never see anywhere! Recorded in 1980, sounds like it was recorded during the early 70's. It's the brother Lp of "Donna De Paradiso", most probably taken from the same studio session.

Contains a beautuful 10 minutes musical suite "Pasqua" divided in three parts, please listen the clip to hear the first (and best) part of it. A nice prog jazz-rock driven track with lots of vocals and chorus.

Listen also to the superb folk groove of "Apritevi, o cieli". Very rare!
