Absolutely lovely copy of the original 1956 pressing of the legendary Cello Colours LP by Andre Navarra, on Capitol P-18023. One of the all-time great cello recordings, and a simply breathtaking copy that sounds absolutely incredible. The disc is beautiful and plays flawlessly and just beautifully, with only one short moment of light crackle during the second track on side one, Fauré’s Elegie. Not bad at all, and only for a few moments. There are a couple of scuffs on that side but this is the only moment of any noise at all. The rest of the side plays perfectly, and side two is perfect all the way through. The cover is just beautiful as well, with no seam splits or major damage of any sort. There is a 1” split just beginning at the center of the bottom, where the disc touches the inside, and some light signs of age and gentle use, but really it is a beautiful cover as well. This is truly a top original copy, very hard to beat, if you can even find another copy at all.
