ANDREI KITAEV / BILL DOUGLASS ?– FIRST TAKES - 'REFERENCE RECORDINGS' RR-6 - VINYL ABSOLUTELY MINT! Reference Recordings RR-6 1978 Pressed in West Germany
This audiophile, 12-inch, 45-rpm vinyl record is one of a series of state-of-the-art live recordings produced in limited numbers by Reference Recordings, San Francisco, during the golden age of high-tech high-fidelity record recording and mastering in the late 1970s.
Recorded June 12, 1978 at Royce Hall, UCLA, Los Angeles, the recording was engineered by legendary recording engineer Keith Johnson, mastered at half speed by Stan Ricker, JVC Cutting Center, with metal plating by James P. Shelton, EuropaDisk Plating, and pressed with its own stampers by Teldec, West Germany.
The record is in absolutely MINT condition. Jacket is also nearly perfect, with just a bit of slight creasing near one corner but no other marks or wear.
