Spirit of Sound Records has come into vinyl LP gems, 45s and 78s from all genres in prime condition and will be listing regularly for the foreseeable future. ANDREW HILL, SMOKE STACK; Blue Note BLP 4160, 1964 Original, New York Label.  Mono.  Rudy Van Gelder and 'ear' in Dead Wax.   Andrew Hill, piano with Richard Davis, bass; Eddie Khan, bass and Roy Haynes, drums.  Vinyl is EX/Mint-, clean, shiny with original glossy sheen and light sleeve wear.  Labels, Side 1 with perhaps sticker or tape residue lightly obscuring some of the lettering (see photo), Side 2 near perfect.  Jacket is VG+/EX, front clean and pretty with very light ring wear, some wear spine and spine corners and at opening; back with thin brown line vertically across top part of jacket and 1"X1/2" sticker residue top right corner (neither obscure any text or graphics).  Rare Mono copy in nice condition!

Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception.  We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.  
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS.  We combine shipping for multiple purchases.  To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.  We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation (registered mail) when choosing a shipping option.   Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
