Description
This rare Andrew Leigh vinyl LP, titled "Magician," is a must-have for any progressive rock collector. The 33 RPM record has a vinyl matrix number of A//1 B//1 indicating it is a first edition and first pressing. Bearing in mind the disc is 53 years old the vinyl shows lots of mostly fine hairlines that create some light audible clicks but nothing overwhelming that would detract from the listening pleasure. The disc has been fully play tested and displays no skipping or sticking. The black vinyl comes in a cardboard sleeve that may have been exposed to damp at some stage that has created a wave on the sleeve and though it’s retained good colour over the years it does show a lot of wear to the edges and some ring wear.
The 1970 release features former Spooky Tooth member Leigh's haunting vocals and impressive guitar skills, creating a one-of-a-kind listening experience. This United Kingdom release on the Polydor label (catalogue number 2343-034) is a true gem from 1970 and is sure to be a valuable addition to any vinyl record collection.
