Diese Woche biete ich einige tolle Lp's der englischen Progressiv u. Bluesrock - Epoche an. Die Platten hat ein guter Freund Mitte der Siebziger-Jahre in London gekauft, zu einer Zeit als die großen Plattenfirmen ihre Lager geräumt  und die Restbestände quasi an die Läden verschenkt haben.Sie tauchten dann in den Billigkisten der Plattenshops in Soho u. Oxford St. wieder auf und wurden verramscht.Die Platten waren ungespielt, aber die Cover waren schon nicht mehr ganz neu. Jetzt nach über 30 Jahren hat er sie mir überlassen und ich weiß, daß sie nur sehr selten gespielt worden sind.Das Vinyl ist in tollem mint oder mint minus Zustand, keine Kratzer, fast keine Haarlinien oder ähnliches, lediglich Abdrücke der Plastik-gefütterten Innenhüllen waren wohl unvermeidbar nach so langer Zeit.Sieht etwas gräulich aus, hat aber keinen Einfluß auf den Sound! Die Angebote sind, mit einer Ausnahme, alle im englischen eBay eingestellt, es gelten für Deutschland aber die Preise in Euro .Der Versand erfolgt in stabiler Verpackung nur als versichertes Paket!!!

Meine Einstufungen erfolgen nach strengen Oldie-Markt-Kriterien !!! Wer Zweifel hat sollte meine Sterne im Bewertungsprofil ansehen, es sind zwar noch nicht viele Bewertungen, aber die Sternchen sind voll und das soll auch so bleiben !!!

Die hier angebotene Andromeda ist die einzige Ausnahme in der Serie, sie wurde second-hand gekauft und ist oft gespielt worden, klingt aber noch fantastisch.Habe sie mir mehrere Male angehört um sie genau zu bewerten und für mich ist es immer noch eine der besten Alben die je gepresst wurden !!! So selten wie immer behauptet wird ist sie zwar nicht, aber die Sammler kleben an dem Teil, was nicht verwundert...

This weeks auction features some fantastic British albums that a friend of mine bought in the mid-seventies in a London record-shop.A time when the Record Companies needed storage-space and they practically gave away unwanted stocks to record-dealers for nothin'.These albums ended up in clearance-sales in basement-shops in Oxford St. and Soho (remember Cheapo Cheapo ???) The records were unplayed, but covers had a little shelfwear sometimes.Anyway, he had these albums in his collection for more than 30 odd years and very rarely they were played.The vinyl is in stunnig mint or next to mint condition, no scratches, almost no hairlines or paperscuffs.What's visible is a light greyish hue on the vinyl from the original poly-innersleeves, but that doesn't affect the audio. I'll try my level-best to grade each album as precise as possible, but in case you're not happy with the purchase, please, don't hesitate to contact me! This one is the only exception in the auction-series, 'cause it was bought second-hand those days and has been played often, but still sounds fantastic. Played it several times to give an accurate grading and of course it's one of the best albums ever pressed !!! Not so bloody-rare as always stated, but difficult to get, for collectors will keep their copy until their dying-day...

Condition vinyl:  visual grading:  very good, many hairlines and

                                                  paperscuffs, but no deep scratches !!!

                           playgraded:  very good +++ (I don't use 'ex'), slight

                                               background-noise in quiet parts, else m-

 Condition cover:  very good, little lifting of lamination along the fully readable spine, minimal creasing along the opening-edge, 3mm hole in bottom-spine.Backside of cover has a 5mm tear in opening edge, left corner, not bad though, else the unlaminated back of cover, which is quite delicate, is very very nice. SEE PICTURES !!!
