ANDY DEVINE Tales of the Golden West (WILD BILL HICKOCK) Viking VKS-8800
VINYL: VG PLAY GRADED a strongish VG there are pops/background here and there but it is quite listen-able. It is a thick Deep Groove Lp. Probably a 1950's, early stereo, Lp COVER: VG still mostly in shrink but there is a 2" split in the center of the spine (under the shrink)
This is of Wild Bill Hickok starred Guy Madison as the legendary lawman
Andy plays his comedy sidekick, Jingles P. Jones.
Devine and Madison portrayed their roles on radio from 1951 to 1956. On this LP Wild Bill and Jingles lead, "ramrod" a trail drive of covered wagons,I'm guessing this was one of the radio shows. I don't know if the radio shows ran an hour. The record with commercials would have been more then 1 hour. There are some songs on the record including Andy Devine singing a song, "I'm Jingles" It is possible they were added to a radio show to fill out the LP. There is no info on the LP and as I wrote I can't find any other info on-line.

GRADING
NM Should sound new. Record and cover appear virtually
unmarked, Might be 1 or 2 almost unnoticeable marks.
Cover in shrink.
VG++ Should sound almost NM or not far from it.
VG+ Used but not abused. Will have some audible &/orvisual imperfections.
VG Still enjoyable but there will be quite obvious visual & audible imperfections.
In this condition cover flaws will be noted or pictured.
VG- Same as VG but defects are more pronounced.
