Description

Having been a collector of Art Cover Records for 10 years I had the honour to present my collection at ART BASEL the world's premier international art show for Modern and contemporary works.

Having become a father my wife convinced me to downsize my collection in order to enlarge our living space. So in the next few weeks I will present a lot of art cover records of a wide range of artists that have been presented at ART BASEL.

Green Cover in excellent condition with light wear at top right - Blue Cover in Vg++ condition with overall wear and seam split at right bottom corner.

Records in Vg+ condition.


This is Andy Warhol's first record art cover. He created it in 1949. The music on this record is a concert of Aztec Music that was performed nine years earlier in May 1940 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. 

A rare opportunity for Warhol art cover collectors to own 2 cover versions.
