Description

very, very rare mid 50´s Prestige LP  "TROMBONE BY THREE" , with the very high in demand ANDY WARHOL cover art ( the famous piper-cover -- one of the most beautiful cover he ever made - see picture), prestige#4, 16 rpm------

Prestiges very short lived experiment into ultra long play lp's, they dropped it after a very short time, so only a few copies of this rare lp/Print might be exist.... the price for this record exploded last year up to   890,- usd,   other WARHOL cover art LP`s are getting more and more collectible, and were sold on ebay for extremely high prices:

Label:   PRESTIGE 4 (WHITE  LABEL DEEP GROOVE) White fireworks label with W. 50th address, RVG stamped in dead wax, also deep groove.

Condition of Disc:     have  played it on  33 rpm and there was a bit noise / sizzeling to hear ----as I don't have 16 RPM on my turntable, the vinyl shows scuff and use, but plays without any problems, ( no skipping,  no jumping)


Condition of Cover:  NICE ANDY WARHOL COVER. no ring wear, . no splits !!!!!!!!! EDGES and CORNERS  are VERY NICE. THE SPINE is beautiful. The Cover was taped and you see the rest of the desmoved tape at the right edge and a little bit change of the colour near to  the other edges --- the Frontcover shows NO !!!!!!! Handwriting or other increases like Splits, so the Artwork is still in a very Beautiful condition and highly collectable ( on the bottom edge to the right you see the signature of andy warhol

Backside Cover: Very Small NAME_STAMP (name) AND 2 VERY SMALL TAGS OF HANDWRITING (NAME, DATE) AND SLIGHT DARKENING and SPOTS OF AGE ON BACK COVER (SEE PICTURE)
