ANGEL BAD PUBLICITY '79 UNRELEASED LP COVER + PRESS KIT
Angel - Bad Publicity (Casablanca NBLP 7127) 1979 LP with extremely rare unreleased cover.
This LP, their final studio album, was retitled and released as "Sinful" with a completely different cover. In fact early pressings of that LP still listed the "Bad Publicity" title on the labels (as does this copy). However, copies of the original "Bad Publicity" cover are seldom seen and rarely offered for sale. In fact, this is the first one we've ever seen (and we starting selling rare records a year before this was issued).
The disc has some minor scratches, but is still in (VG+) condition.
The cover has some sort of glue residue along the left edge, which mostly shows on the back. It's hardly noticeable on the front. The front has a blue ink mark near the bottom. Overall, the cover is probably (VG+) condition.
As far as we know, this is the RAREST Angel item there is!
Also included in this lot as bonus is a great Angel press kit, which is probably from 1977. It consists of a biography page, a merchandising flyer, 3 group photos and 5 individual member photos, all inside a custom folder.
One of the group photos has some slight "rippling" and the folder has some minor wear, but overall, it is still in excellent condition!
