ANITA O'DAY: "SINGS JAZZ" LP - On NORGRAN Records, MG N-1049. Vintage MONO pressing with the classic black/silver DEEP GROOVE labels. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover featuring fantastic David Stone Martin artwork on front. The personnel: Anita O'Day/vocals; Roy Eldridge/trumpet; Albert Johnson/tenor sax; Cecil Payne/baritone sax; Bill Harris/trombone; Ralph Burns or Roy Kral/piano; Earl Backus/guitar; Al McKibbon or John Frigo/bass; Don Lamond or Bob Loinberg/drums; Jim Wilson/bongos. The vinyl is in M- condition (absolutely beautiful gloss)!! GORGEOUS!! The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape, displays wonderfully. No writing, no cut-out marks, and the David Stone Martin front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: Rock 'N Roll Blues; Love For Sale; Lullaby of the Leaves; Lover Come Back to Me; No Soap, No Hope Blues; Speak Low; Pagan Love Song; Ain't This A Wonderful Day; Somebody's Crying; Vaya Con Dios; The Lady Is A Tramp; Strawberry Moon.
