Description
Here's a 45 rpm studio acetate containing an undocumented circa-1975 funk track by Anita Sherman, titled "Love Thang, Sex Thang." Aside from being a member of Detroit's The 8th Day, Sherman released only one record as a solo artist (1976's "Make Love Like You Mean It" single on A&M), and did session work through the 1990s. I'm assuming this song was written by Gene Page; the the publisher listed on the label is Page's short lived imprint Rekrap, which was used for a handful of his songs between 1974 and 1976. The 10" disc is in very strong VG condition with light surface wear. Playback is excellent throughout with some like crackle. Listen to the first half of the four-minute track below.
