ANJA THAUER / DVORAK - " KONZERT FUR VIOLONCELLO ", Deutsche Grammophon (139 392) Stereo.
Very rare, first German Stereo pressing of the very rare Deutsche Grammophon LP with the ring of tulips label - see photo.
German issue and pressing.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.
In the name of getting the auction going, I will start this item at just 99p.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT- (No big scratches, no groove damage, no distortion, just the very lightest of spindle trails, etc. Under a bright grading lamp I can make out a few very light marks visible on the vinyl's surface - although none of these correspond directly to any audible defects. On playback, there is some very faint surface noise just audibile during the silent run-in before the beginning of the tracks and occasionally during some of the quieter sections of certain tracks. However, once the music gets going, it plays well - generally free from interuption from distortion, clicks, pops, etc. Overall, although it is not quite perfect, it is by no means ruined by these tiny imperfections and would still make a good honest copy for someone to play and enjoy (those searching for a museum piece would probably be best off avoiding this particular example though).
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = V.G. (No big rips or tears, no heavy creasing or defacing, etc. I've seen much worse, but it does suffer worn corners, a split about 30mm in length along the top edge, plus some wear and smalle tears along it's spine - see photos for further clarification)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records.
