Label & catalog number : BUENA VISTA BV-3316 STEREO - First issue : deep groove, black & silver print label

Country, release year : USA - 1963

Conditions : cover shows two hole punches, the first in the upper right-hand on the letter S of stereo while the other is located at the lower right-hand just above the letters IN belonging to the word Surfin'. Otherwise some light creasing on the corners and minimal overall wear and tear, EX  / disc shows some cosmetic rubs and light hairlines which do not affect play at all, EX+

STRICTLY GRADED

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc. ... are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Notes : Annette sings twelve very enjoyable surf songs from the lively or moderate rhythm, six of which from the movie " Beach Party " starring Annette herself, Frankie Avalon, Bob Cummings, Dorothy Malone and Dick Dale & The Deltones. In the tracklist at the below these songs are underlined by an asterisk (*).
