Description

Presenting 1920s torch singer Annette Hanshaw performing "Am I Blue" and "Daddy, Won’t You Please Come Home" on Diva 2940.  This 78 RPM disc is in E- condition and plays well, with a nice, quiet surface.

The sidemen who accompany her (known as the New Englanders) are also pretty hot.  Miss Hanshaw closes each song with her trademark "That’s All".

In my opinion, these are two of Annette’s best performances.  Please be sure to look at my photo below (white spots are reflection from my scanner).

We are 78 RPM record collectors ourselves, and have shipped them many times.  We will package this record very carefully, so it arrives in your hands in the same condition as it left ours.  Bid with confidence.
