Description
Ohr, Germany, 1970. Original lp in original gimmick cover featuring folding panels - though some panels are missing ( see below).
G+/ G+ Conservatively graded, as the cover looks decent from a distance, and the lp is enjoyable, though there are some issues.
Cover: There are supposed to be four folding triangular quarter-cover size panels, two at top and two at bottom. Of these, one is intact and two are missing. One more has been moved and re-positioned from bottom edge to opening edge with diagonal scotch tape in order to cover surface damage and tear-up to center area of underlying panel. Considerable damage to underside of fold line area. Someone has laid strips of scotch tape along three of the four diagonal panel edges, and for some inconceivable reason also along opening edge. Some edge wear along bottom edge and a few spots of wear along top edge; very light seam wear along top edge on back cover.
Record: Both sides start out somewhat crackly with some pops and clicks during the first two minutes, mostly clears up to reveal only some light intermittent light surface noise throughout - noticeable but not too distracting. Side one clears up to near mint by the end of side, whereas side to has some more pops during the quieter last track. It is still enjoyable despite these obvious issues.
