Description
I'm not into classical music, but over the years audiophiles have told me to pick up vintage 1950s / early 1960s Classical Stereo Lps in nice shape--if reasonably priced. Well, these came into a thrift store I frequent and donated by someone who lived in the UK and was into this type of music. They looked interesting and they were priced right! So I offer them to you--the classical enthusiast. They are: (1): Ansermet Beethoven Symphony No. 2..Decca Stereo ffss SXL 2228. 1E/1E in the deadwax (2): Ansermet Beethoven Symphony No.4...Decca Stereo ffss SXL 2116. 4E / 6E in deadwax. (3): Ansermet Beethoven Symphony No. 7..Decca ffss SXL 2235. 1E/1E in deadwax. ALL lps have their original inner sleeves. ALL the Lps have a couple spindle marks--indicating they were probably played only a few times and then stored away. The Lps are in beatutiful condition with no scratches (maybe a paper scuff on one of the Lps) and I would visually grade the Lps as NM (Near Mint). ALL the covers have on the upper back a thrift store "195" price black marker (can probably be removed) as well as original store sticker price (can also probably easily be removed..see pic). I would grade the COVERS as a glossy VG+. There you have it! Winning US bidder to pay $4 for Media Mail delivery (or optional $14 for Priority).
