Original UK Decca Wide band with groove stereo label.
In original inner sleeve.
This is a rare Decca first pressing (or ED1) of this performance. The label on the disc has a wide silver band just above the centre and a circular groove in the vinyl approx 1cm in from the edge.
On the rim of the label at 10.00 o’clock are printed the words “ORIGINAL RECORDING BY”.
The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are: ZAL 5142-1E & ZAL 5143-1E
The outer sleeve is the original: lightweight cardboard, flip-back, laminated on the front.
The sleevenotes are dated 1961.
Disc and outer sleeve are both made in England. The inner sleeve is period Decca ffss printed paper with polythene liner.
