Here's a very nice copy of British singer Anthony Newley's 1965 LP, "Who Can I Turn To", songs from his musical "The Roar Of The Greasepaint". Anthony Newley wrote many popular songs (the James Bond theme "Goldfinger") and starred in movies as diverse as "Doctor Doolittle" and "The Garbage Pail Kids". Very popular artist in both the US and swingin' England in the 50's and 60's. This LP is AUTOGRAPHED TWICE, once on the front where it didn't show very well, so I'm guessing that's why he also signed the back, in 1971, where he played at Lake Tahoe where I bought this many moons ago. This was likely sold in the lobby and signed after the show. I have not had the signature authenticated, but it looks exactly like other signatures I've seen of his, and it was signed in Tahoe where he played in 1971. The vinyl is in very nice shape, NO scratches, NO skips, just clean, shiny, and with good color still after it's 55 years of life. The cover is in great shape, the back very clean and white, the front with just a bit of shelf and ring wear. It has some minor corner bumping, a very legible spine, and NO splitting. On the back top left corner, it has a NOT FOR SALE PROMOTIONAL COPY stamp, with no ink, on the corner, and the front top right corner is just a bit rough.
