Description

ANTONI WILLIAMS -- The Antoni Williams Story -- hard to find, original 1961 New Zealand album.  Wicked rare N.Z. LP from this little-known artist w/ excellent Rockabilly-Teen Rock-Doo Wop sound on uptempo numbers like "Cradle Of Love," "Let The Little Girl Dance," "Monsoon" and ballads inc. "Angel Of Love," "Runnin' Scared," others.  He was previously in pioneering N.Z. doo wop group The Tremellos before going solo, and toured down under w/ The Everly Bros..  Killer stuff.  A very difficult record to come by -- does not come up for sale often.  See photo for track listing.  Cover:  VG- to VG, 1-1/2" tear/abrasion at upper right front, ring wear and creasing around edges, price stickers upper right front, date written back cover upper left, vintage ink stamp from N.Z. store back cover middle top, faint residue from old price sticker back upper right, numbers written next to song titles on back, small stain back lower left corner.  Record:  VG/VG+, several light surface marks on Side One, light surface wear, overall clean, on La Gloria label, N.Z. pressing.
