APHRODITE'S CHILD - 666 (VERTIGO 6673 001)
Ultra rare original British issue of this Progressive masterpiece from 1972. This SPIRAL LABEL edition is ultra rare as it was only on the market here in the UK for a very short time upon release and was quickly replaced by the more common (although also elusive) spaceship label issues.
Cover is laminated and gatefold of course. It is virtually perfect although the one owner (who bought it new at the time) put some magic tape (a lesser evil than cellotape) carefully along both cover openings to protect the sleeve. These could be removed with some care and really do not cause a problem visually. Else the sleeve is free from any tears, writing or any notable creases. The spine and all edges are also completely perfect. In fact it really does look virtually as new.
Discs are in lovely condition too with no faults or notable signs of use. Really very clean they both retain their full shine. Housed in standard white British lined inners which came with this release originally. A super copy of a very rare album.
