Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?
I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.
I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --APHRODITE'S CHILD--666 (The apocalypse of John, 13/18)--UK ORIGINAL PRESSING. 1972 stereo 6673 001 The 88th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!
SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and LAMINATED. The edges are EX. The front is in great condition with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKERS just 1 or 2 creases and just a small amount of rubbing to laminate surface. The rear is in similar condition and only suffers with an impression of the disk on its surface . The inner gatefold is graded as EX but there are some initials. The opening edges are in EX- condition. There is spine wear and the information is not completely clear, there is wear to the VERY TIPS of the corners. This album comes with it's ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVES in EX+ condition . All in all this is in very nice condition for a 36year old sleeve. EX.
LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, stickers or tears. There are moderate spindle marks on each side, side B album 1 has some light blemishes EX
VINYL..... This album has 111 matrix numbers making it very desirable (see the pictures). All 4 sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see a few surface hair lines and just 1 or 2 light scuffs and light scratches. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles that can only be heard in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These original pressings are second to none. Unfortunately there is a short deep scratch which causes 6 light ticks at the beginning of disc 1 side 2 track 3 and light clicks for about 60 seconds on track 4.This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST ALBUMS ON THIS LABEL AND IN MY TOP TEN
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE RARITY OF THIS ALBUM
BECOMING HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION
