Description

This is fine pressing of a great prog psych LP entitled 'Arc...at this' by a UK band called Arc. They went on to become Bell and Arc after this, their only album when they joined up with Graham Bell. This is a stereo pressing. This LP was originally released in 1971 on the UK Decca label (catalogue no. SKL-R 5077). This pressing features the boxed Decca logo on the blue labels. It's a wonderful record with a fantastic line up featuring Mick Gallagher, John Turnbull, David Montgomery aand Tom Duffy and some fantastic musicianship. This is such a rare record. It is highly unlikely to ever turn up again.

OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is in pretty good condition. There is some wear on the front and back covers and there is a 20mm x 25mm sticker tear on the front top left hand corner which has been filled in with black ink. There is also ring wear on both front and back. The top and bottom edges show some wear and the spine also shows some wear. This is a very delicate sleeve. There is a minor split along the top edge and there is a small tear on the bottom front right hand corner at the mouth of the sleeve. The wording along the spine is 90% readable. Someone has protected the sleeve with a clear plastic film and this has been very carefully applied. I've graded the sleeve as VG.

INNER SLEEVE - This is a Decca company white diecut sleeve with a polythene inner and blue wording. I've graded the inner sleeve as Ex-.

RECORD - The record itself looks clean with some very superficial minor marks which do not affect the quality of the recording. There is some surface noise and the very occasional pop and click. There are definitely no jumps on any of the tracks. The blue labels with silver wording are in lovely condition with some minor spindle marks. The record has been well played. There is no damage to the labels on either side. These labels feature the boxed Decca logo and it states on both sides - 'FULL FREQUENCY STEREOPHONIC SOUND'. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one  - XZAL - 10299.P - 3W (stampers 3    0) - side two - XZAL - 10300.P - 1W (stampers 1    C). I have graded the record as Ex-- and I believe that this is very fair. I try to grade everything as accurately and conservatively as possible. The winner of this auction will not be disappointed. All my items are 100% guaranteed and can be returned for a full refund if the buyer is not satisfied with the product.
