Description

I have two copies of this rare single and I have decided to sell one of them. They were given to me when I played bass for the Whitbread brothers in their band 'Red Hunter' between 1998 and 2003 and again in the reformed ARC from 2007 to 2011.  The single is mint and unplayed and the cover is mint / mint minus. The sleeve is unglued exactly as they were received from the printers in 1981. The band had to glue the covers themselves with limited success. Second-hand copies rarely have the sleeve intact. I will include a copy of the 'War of the Ring' lyrics, which are very difficult to decipher from the record, and a copy of the ARC photo of the band that recorded 'War of the Ring' taken on the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire in 1981.
