Description
In 1985, while John Taylor and Andy Taylor (Duran Duran bassist and guitarist) were rockin' hard with Robert Palmer in the Power Station, the remaining three members (singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, and drummer Roger Taylor) formed a band called Arcadia. The album is actually really good, and features several guests, such as Sting, David Gilmour, Carlos Alomar (from David Bowie's band), Herbie Hancock, Andy Mackay (from Roxy Music), and of course, Grace Jones!
There was really only one big radio hit on here, and it's called "Election Day", which features Grace Jones on spoken parts of the song. It's an awesome track, and definitely represents the feel of this album. In today's good deal, you'll get a sweet slab of vintage 80s vinyl!
This is a STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED copy of the (only) Arcadia album, from 1985! It's got a cut-out notch, and the shrinkwrap is coming off in places, but still intact. A little shelf-wear on the corners. The vinyl should be in mint condition, though. First edition, from 1985!
