Description
Very rare original UK pressing of the Prog/Psych classic Breathe Awhile by Arcadium. Original pressings of this album are notoriously noisy and this one is no exception.
The record has marks all over both sides. Audio wise the record plays between a G+ and VG, with background noise spread throughout the record. The noise is particularly prominent throughout the long intro on the first song, but once the music gets going it is much less noticeable. There are some repetitive clicks on the first minute or so of the first song on the B side and some background noise on the last song. I’ve given it a G+ overall but the quality of the audio fluctuates and large parts play more like a VG. The labels have a previous owners named stamped on each side.
The sleeve is in decent shape but has some issues. On the one hand, the seems and spine are perfect with no problems. On the other hand, the cover has a hole punch, a sticker bottom left, a small tear top left and some dried tape residue along the top seem (front and back - though this can probably be removed with some lighter fluid). The artwork still displays nicely and most of these faults don’t bring down the quality of the sleeve too much. I think it’s a VG but judge for yourself, I’ve tried to include as much as possible in the pictures.
