Description
ARCHIE SHEPP: "FIRE MUSIC" impulse! records STEREO A-86 pressing; clean label side 2, side 1 label has small, neat name written in ball-point. Vinyl is VISUALLY Graded: Vinyl looks VG++ This is a pressing mastered by the legendary Rudy Van Gelder, with VAN GELDER machine-stamped in the dead-wax. Jacket is vg+ with very light shelf-wear, light corner wear, EXCEPT for some heavy abrasion and water staining of the lower-left corner which is at bottom center of the open gatefold, and a tiny ding near lower-right corner, of front edge. The front and back still look EXCELLENT, with thick, glossy lamination on the outside. Inside looks great, though the water staining and rippling is more visible. The previous owner also wrote his name on the inside, under the notes. DETAILED Liner notes are by Nat Hentoff and are not affected by the issues described. The spine and seams are otherwise intact.
