This auction is for a copy of the out-of print Arckanum "Trulen" Double LP on Blut & Eisen Productions, licensed from Carnal Records, 2006. This is a re-release of the band's 1994 demo of the same name on vinyl for the first time. This demo was the band's fourth, including the two official rehearsal demos, and their first true forays into black metal after their death metal beginnings. This was also the point where Shamaatae took over all of the instrumental and vocal duties rather than collaborating with others, with the exception of Sataros on "Baerghet." This can be said to mark the true beginnings of the powerful black metal entity known as Arckanum; in the years immediately following, Shamaatae recorded in quick succession the classics "Fran Marder," "Kostogher" and "Kampen," each of which stand on their own as black metal monuments to Satanic worship and darkside Germanic heathendom. This demo, too, stands on its own, with some of the most powerful songs Arckanum ever recorded and an excellent production for a demo; really, with its 40-or-so-minute length, it's hard to see "Trulen" as anything but the first true Arckanum full-length. 666 copies were pressed, with the first 200 being picturediscs and the other 466 on black; this is a black vinyl copy. The vinyl, printed inner sleeves and gatefold cover are in excellent condition. I happened to end up with an extra copy of this fantastic album after buying a friend's record collection, so I'm offering it up here.
