Description
Jimi Hendrix's debut album in the UK released in 1967 on Track Records, no. 612 001. All tracks were written by him.
The matrix number on side 1 is 612001 A ^ 1 1 11 and on side 2 it's 612001 B A ^ 1 11 1.
There is a crack on track 4 of side 1 which is not bad and lasts about 20 seconds. There is a similar crack on track 3 side 2 which lasts about 30 seconds. Neither spoils the overall enjoyment of the record particularly. Otherwise, when I played the record through recently, I heard no other scratches or jumps or pops.
The cardboard outer cover is intact but with signs of wear. The bottom joint has come apart a bit and it looks as though I have tried to repair it with sellotape at some time but it has worked loose again. You can just about see it on the photos. It is certainly repairable again. The inner paper sleeve is intact but is browning through age. Considering the album is fifty years old, it is in reasonable nick. I hope the photos give a fair picture of its condition.
I have been the sole owner of the album since its purchase.
