Aref was one of the mainstays of Persian pop scene of 60s and 70s, starting out as the beat band The Golden Ring's singer. He especially made a name for himself for singing ballads with his thick soulful voice (also found quite much on this LP) but any way he was another "modern Iran" musician, flirting with western sounds all the way. He even included a nice Devil's Anvil cover in Persian to the LP! (Listen to the second track on the sample). Extremely rare (in fact almost all Persian LPs are since these were made in very limited quantities as they were not good sellers). Cover is EX-, disc VG++
