Very rare original test pressing of Aretha Franklin's "Lady Soul" released on Atlantic Records in 1968.
This is a Mono LP with a white label that only provides track name, track titles, side number, and address. This is pasted over generic test pressing labels that I have photographed above. Presumably, once it was given the O.K. to be distributed amongst those in the chain of command at Atlantic. 
However, the labels display the INCORRECT side # while the runout etchings display the CORRECT side #
It is housed in a 1968 "Lady Soul" Mono sleeve. The cover shows minor signs of wear but is still well preserved.
This copy sounds fantastic and is incredibly clear and sharp. This LP provides a listening experience second to none. A very rare collector's item that is incredibly scarce and to find a disc that sounds like this is not going to happen often. 
Record: VG+ There are a few faint paper scuffs and minor hairlines but these do not affect playback and even the runouts between tracks are virtually quiet. When this LP is being played it sounds absolutely phenomenal. Sounds excellent in mono.  Play tested, sounds great.

Cover: VG/VG+ This cover is well preserved and the front image and text are in great shape. Same goes for the rear cover. The top seam has a ~3" split near the opening for the LP and other minor signs of wear along the top seam. the rear cover has one white sticker attached above the words "Lady Soul". Still looks great. See photos above.
