Description
Nice copy of the 1970 first pressing of Aretha’s classic Spirit in the Dark LP on Atlantic SD-8265. Original pre-Warner logo labels with Broadway address, original Atlantic inner sleeve, and cover in the original shrinkwrap with the rare hype sticker. The disc has some surface scuffing and a few light marks but remarkably it plays just beautifully. There is maybe the tiniest crackle in a couple of places but really it plays almost flawlessly, despite the marks. I had it ultrasonically cleaned and it really made it sound incredible. The cover is very close to mint. This is a truly lovely copy that plays beautifully.
