Description
For auction is "The Electrifying ARETHA FRANKLIN," on Columbia CL 1761, MONO, 1962.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Outstanding sound and playback! There may have been a tiny, soft tic here or there, but almost perfect!
VINYL: NM
The vinyl looks practically new! The red-6-eye labels are pristine, with a "promo" sticker on side B.
JACKET: VG+ or better
The jacket is extremely nice. The edges and spine are solid and excellent condition. The 2 bottom corners are very sharp, the upper left has a little fraying. The upper right is bumped, and there is a 1-2 inch bend across that corner (see pics.) Front and back covers are very clean and unmarked, except for a "promo" stamp on the back. Other than the little bend, the covers are in beautiful condition, with minimal wear or aging. The sale comes with the original inner sleeve in brilliant condition (see pics.)

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
